COMPETITIONS

We are going to celebrate ‘National Library Week’ in online mode from 14.11.2020 to 20.11.2020. The programs/activities will be conducted in online mode only.

All the readers (Students, Teachers and Parents) are cordially invited to participate in this fantastic celebration. Let us make the current situation i.e. Covid-19 epidemic as an opportunity to transform ours reading habits from Offline to Online mode as the future now looking hopefully towards online mode of academic activities. So, once again it is hoped that you all will take this opportunity to develop yours reading habits at the maximum level and you will also feel a new experience as well.

1. BOOK MARK DESIGNING COMPETITION- 14/11/2020 (Class 3th and 6th)

§        Make a Bookmark, take a pic or send to the respective Class teacher through WhatsApp.

§         Last Date 15/11/2020

 

2. BOOK JACKET DESIGNING COMPETITION-15/11/2020 (Class 7th and 8th)

§     Draw the Jacket cover page of a story Book, Take a photograph and send to Class        teacher.

§       Take a selfie with your activities

§        Last Date 16/11/2020

 

3. ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 16/11/2020 (Class IX-XII)

Topic: The Role of Libraries in Education

§        Students can write Essay in Hindi or English

§        Students should write their name, class and school and send to Class teacher

§        Last date: 20/11/2020

4. Audio Story Contest 17/11/2020 (Class IV-VIII) 

 

§  Select a story on public domain

§  Perform and record audio/video

§  Submit to the Class Teacher

§  Last date: 20.11.2020

 

5. POSTER MAKING ABOUT LIBRARY COMPETITION-18/11/2020 (Class VI-XII)

Draw a colourful poster

§       Take a selfie with your activities.

§        Last date: 21.11.2020

 6. Reading Selfie Contest 19/11/2020 (Class IV - VIII)

                              

§        Do you love Reading books?
 If yes, show it to the world.

§       Take a Reading Selfie
Send it to Class Teacher through WhatsApp

Best selfies will get gifts from the library!

7. Literary Quiz Competition for Students 20/11/2020 (Class VII - XII)

The School Library is organizing a Literary Quiz for the students of the Vidyalaya in connection with the National Library Week 2020 celebrations.

The top three entries from every competition will be given Prize after reopening of the school.
